Sara, the president of Altra Dry out of Mt Summit Indiana is awesome! I’m 54 and have NEVER written a review on a contractor… good or bad. We called yesterday because an inexperienced home inspector said we have a mold problem in our basement/crawlspace that we keep at 54% humidity. Sara herself came to our home the very next day… actually a little early (after calling ahead), and inspected it. She said there was minimal old residue that did NOT require remediation and posed no health risks. She recommended we did not do remediation. She showed me what she saw and explained everything to me. She could have confidently told me it had to be treated and charged me thousands and I would have had to pay it, as we’re selling the home. She then provided me with a mold inspection report. I believe there are few honest contractors in the USA today… Sara is definitely one of em! Plus, she’s friendly and a joy to talk to. I would absolutely recommend her for any needs or questions you may have. – Thomas F.
